Sue says;

Many people have asked me what I am thinking of when I create my pieces... at first glance they may seem like a very strange dream...

I am exploring notions of growth, transformation and being, vitality and movement... with a dash of humour!

I am inspired by stories of women; some I know and others I have seen in a documentary or read about... brave women... women unafraid to express themselves or to face their learning edges or to move outside the paradigm.

Amongst my favourites is this piece from Ladies with Attitude - 2004 to 2005. See HERE

All art should include the sense of the presence of mystery - of the Whole.  This piece does and it connects with me in more ways than I can count, and in more ways than I can or want to connect up.  This photograph is a high-angle shot.  The woman has an elegance beyond her actual form. She is manipulated and manipulates.  She is red, and so is the dragon.  She dances with her dragon, rather than seeking to kill it.  She is alive, and moving and is drawing circles before and after the moment of her fixation.   And on and on and on......................

Great humour; great depth, many echoings!
